The delegation arrived at the RDF Headquarters today and were received on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff, by Brig Gen Patrick Karuretwa, the Head of International Military Cooperation and Brig Gen Ronald Rwivanga, the Defence and Military Spokesperson.
They were briefed on the RDF’s transformation journey since the end of the liberation struggle in 1994.
The student officers from Germany, Great Britain, Slovakia, Sweden, and the United States of America will have the opportunity to engage with various groups focused on peace, reconciliation, and development during their visit to Rwanda.
They expected to meet with individuals and organisations working in different sectors to gain a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s remarkable journey towards unity, reconciliation, and socio-economic progress.
