Egyptian international, Mo Salah scored against Fulham on Saturday as his 80th minute goal helped the Reds to earn a 2-2 draw at the Craven Cottage.
The goal also proved to be the former Chelsea forward’s eighth opening day goal since he moved to Liverpool.
With his latest achievement, Salah has equalled the record set by Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer for the highest number of goals on the opening day.
The goal was also his 119th Premier League goal for Liverpool taking him to third on the log at the club, only nine short of Robbie Fowler’s 128 goals and one of Steven Gerrard’s 120 league goals.
Salah proved important once again to Liverpool as his goal helped them to a point against a team they’ve not beaten in two games.
