African football legends have been assembled in the Senegalese capital, Dakar for an opening ceremony of the country’s multi-purpose stadium.
The exhibition match for the opening of the Stade du Senegal will see an African legends side square off with Senegalese legends at the 50,000 capacity facility.
Three Ghanaian football legends are billed to be in attendance. The three are Asamoah Gyan, Anthony Baffoe and Samuel Osei Kuffor.
Other legends set to feature include former Togolese stars’ Emmanuel Adebayor and Kossi Agassa. Ivorian set of Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Eboue, Alain Goumene and yaya toure.
Representing Nigeria will be Nwakwo Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha and Daniel Amokachi. Samuel Eto’o will lead Cameroonian group that involve Geremi Njitap and Patrick Mboma.
