Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has arrived in Sweden for a two-day official visit to boost trade and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
He is accompanied by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar, and other senior representatives from various Nigerian government bodies.
As the representative of President Bola Tinubu, the Vice President will meet with high-ranking Swedish officials to discuss new opportunities for collaboration.
Key meetings include talks with Crown Princess Victoria and Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, highlighting the importance of these discussions.
The talks will focus on areas such as information technology, digital development, education, sustainable transport, agriculture, and mineral resource development.
Vice President Shettima is expected to finish his visit and return to Nigeria on Saturday, with hopes to strengthen ties and create mutual benefits in several important sectors.
