Sierra Leone’s opposition party, the All People’s Congress (APC), has cancelled its national delegates conference according to a statement by Alfred Peter Conteh, the Interim Transition Governance Committee Chairman.
Conteh said the conference was originally slated to be held in Makeni from February 17 to 19.

However, the High Court Judge of Sierra Leone, Justice H. Bonnie, issued an interim injunction preventing the convention from taking place until the court hears and determines an application filed by a party member.
