Sthembiso “SK” Khoza, a popular local actor, is currently trending on social media after a video of him losing his cool went viral.
The former “The Queen” star is seen barefooted in the 30-second video, shouting slurs at a white man.
According to the video footage, Khoza was heard asking if the white man recognises him. As the white man and another black man try to calm him down, he sounds anxious.
The video was reportedly taken at Zebula Lodge in Mpumalanga. Khoza posted something on his Instagram stories that appears to be a response to him becoming trending.
“Maybe some of us were meant to live and be great in another lifetime, and this one is just not for us,” he wrote.
The video has sparked a significant mixed reactions on social media over the actor’s health, with many people claiming that he needs care right now rather than being judged.
“So sad to see what’s happening to SK Khoza, such a talented and happy soul. Sending love and prayers to him. I hope he finds help soon,” South African media personality @NkanyeziKubheka tweeted.
“It’s not fair to blame anyone for what’s happening to SK Khoza. Every action has consequences.
“He made bad choices and he’s living by them. The only thing we can do is support, pray and hope he gets help.
“Abandoning your kids, drugs, abuse and disrespecting people is never good,” a resident based in Gauteng @MaabuleM said.
While Khoza is well-known for his acting skills, he has also become known for making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Last year, the actor’s contract on “The Queen” was terminated with immediate effect. His ousting came shortly after a report that he had allegedly assaulted his ex-fiancée Ayanda “Mandy” Hlongwane.
Sthembiso Khoza, born in July 1986 in Ntuzuma, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, is an actor best known as ‘Shaka’ in Mzansi Magic soapie drama The Queen.
