The Deputy Governor said the government will continue to support citizens through cash transfers, skills acquisition programmes, and women empowerment initiatives. Monthly allowances for physically challenged individuals have been increased.
Gobir praised UNICEF for its support and encouraged continued collaboration to improve state planning and budgeting.
Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Balarabe Kadadi, also thanked UNICEF for its financial and technical help, drawing attention to the state’s focus on health, education, and social protection for children.
