The Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, has pledged accelerated development and a reinforced security framework for 2025, alongside New Year congratulations to residents.
In a statement by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, Soludo highlighted the signing of the ₦606.99 billion 2025 budget as pivotal for creating a livable and prosperous smart mega city.
The budget prioritises infrastructure, economic transformation, education, healthcare, and road construction. Security will also be enhanced with the launch of Operation Udo Ga Chi (Operation Peace Shall Reign) on January 25, deploying 200 vehicles and bolstering forest guard efforts.
Soludo offered amnesty to repentant criminals until February’s end and urged peaceful conduct in the state’s election year. He reaffirmed his commitment to the 2025 budget, calling on Ndi Anambra to join in realising the state’s vision.
