South African Footballer, Portia Modise Held Up at Gunpoint

Portia Modise, the former captain of the South Africa women’s football team, was robbed outside her home in Soweto.
Modise, in a video clip shared on her Instagram page, said she was robbed at gunpoint by “Boys” who took her mobile phone and drove off with her car.
Thankfully, the 41-year-old wasn’t physically assaulted during the incident.

The former Banyana Banyana star, still shaken by the incident, said, “When I arrived home… there were a few guys who pointed firearms at me and hijacked me… I am not OK, but I am grateful for life.
“If anybody has seen this car, it’s a blue Polo Golf – that is my car.”
She also posted the registration details of her stolen car, asking people to inform her if they spot it.
Although the video received an overwhelming response from fans and supporters, the car is yet to be found.
