Sudan’s Prime Minister, Mohamed Tahir Ayala announced the dissolution of state-owned Sudanese Petroleum Corporation and said on Wednesday that its secretary general, Azhari Ibrahim Bassbar’s has been dismissed.

Ayala ordered all the corporation’s assets, documents and employees be transferred to the oil ministry, without a reason for the move.
