Super Eagles Captain, Musa Launches School Project In Nigeria

Nigeria’s senior national football team, Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has launched a school project in Bukuru, Plateau State in the North Central of the country.

Musa, who is currently unattached after terminating his contract with Saudi side Al Nasser said he took the decision to give back because he knows the importance of education.

“I am not ignorant of the need to give back to my wonderful community and that is why I am excited to announce the commencement of the M & S international school project in Plateau State. Jos South local government Bukuru. Education is the key,” he wrote on his Twitter page.

It is not the first of Musa’s act of goodwill as he’s known to help the needy in Kano and other parts of the country. In 2019, he offered 100 Nigerian students scholarships to Skyline University, Kano, North West Nigeria.

He also has a clutch of businesses through which he generates employment for young Nigerians.

Musa is on his way to equalling the record of highest number of appearances for Nigeria as he has garnered 95 appearances, 6 shy of Vincent Enyeama and Joseph Yobo’s 101 appearances.

The former CSKA Moscow winger/attacker is Nigeria’s top scorer in the history of the World Cup with four goals, two apiece in 2014 and 2018.
