Jose Peseiro, the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has picked his team for the friendly against Portugal. Victor Osimhen is one of the strikers who will lead the way up front.
Osimhen is one of the players summoned by the Portuguese tactician after missing the previous friendlies due to injury.
Alex Iwobi of Everton has also been chosen for the match set to be played on Thursday at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is one of the players who did not make the squad. The friendly will serve as part of the Super Eagles’ preparations for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which will take place in March.
