There will be a return of “Superman.” On Thursday, the first trailer for DC Studios‘ feature picture “Superman” was released.
The Man of Steel, who is directed by James Gunn, is shown in the teaser bloodied by a crash landing before being saved by his adorable superpup, Krypto.
Rachel Brosnahan plays Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult plays Lex Luthor, and David Corenswet plays Superman/Clark Kent.
The action, romantic, and world-saving scenes in the next movie are set to the well-known “Superman” theme tune by composer John Williams, but the teaser does not reveal any narrative points.
Nathan Fillion’s Green Lantern, Edi Gathegi’s Mr. Terrific, and Isabela Merced’s Hawkgirl are among the few new characters that are hinted at.
“Superman” will be released on July 11 in the US and July 9 in other countries next year. The movie is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery, just like CNN.
