The alleged killer of the late American rapper Takeoff is requesting $5,000 from the judge to employ a Private Investigator.
Patrick Xavier Clark, the alleged murderer of Takeoff, is requesting funds from the court in order to hire a private eye for his defense.
According to publicly disclosed legal documents, Clark has requested $5,000 to employ a private investigator.
The paper also states that he is prohibited from speaking with certain individuals, including Takeoff’s family, J. Prince Jr., and boxer Shakur Stevenson, who was standing inches from the rapper minutes before the deadly shooting.
If released, Clark will be placed under house arrest, restricted from carrying firearms or other lethal weapons, and forbidden from consuming marijuana or other controlled substances without a prescription.
Clark says he has already identified a private investigator who will work on the case for $85/hour less.
Clark has been arrested and charged with the rapper’s murder and is presently being jailed on a $2 million bond.
