Tems’ ‘Found’ Set To Receive RIAA Plaque

Nigerian Grammy winner Tems is back in the news, the 27 year old singer is on her way to receiving yet another certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.

According to Chart Data, Tems’ ‘Found’ has surpassed 500,000 units in sales in the United States, which is a prerequisite for a record being gold certified.

The 2021 single featuring American R&B singer Brent Faiyaz was one of the tracks on her EP, ‘If Orange Was A Place’. This would be her 3rd solo project to sell over 500,00 units and earn a gold certification, after her 2020 hit ‘Free mind’ and billboard hit ‘Higher’ which was sampled for Future’s Grammy winning song ‘Wait For U’

Since gaining international reception collaborating with Rihanna on Wakanda’s ‘Lift Me Up’, working with Beyoncé, Drake amongst others, Tems has continued to gain more global recognition including nods from the Emmy awards, Oscars and even the Grammy’s.

We’re certainly looking forward to more groundbreaking international collaborations; especially since hit makers like Dj Khaled and rapper snoop dog have publicly expressed interests in working with Tems.
