Following her Grammy victory on Sunday night, Nigerian singer Tems is making more history as she is scheduled to get a RIAA plaque for her song ‘Found’ which features American singer Brent Faiyaz off her EP, ‘If Orange Was A Place’ released in 2021.

The song is now qualified for a gold certification in the US; this would mark Tems’ third solo gold certification after “Free Mind” and “Higher,” both of which have already received the honor.

As the Oscars season approaches in March and the Emmys in July it is only hoped that Tems bags both nominations for her writing on ‘Lift’ Me Up’ which is the lead soundtrack for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. And that would mean she is one step closer to joining the prestigious EGOT list.
