Nigerian Parliamentarians Direct NNPC To Suspend Companies Involved in Selling Adulterated Fuel (News Central TV)

Nigeria’s National Petroleum Corporation has called for calm over fuel queues which have begun spotting several states of the country including the Federal Capital (Abuja).

The Group Managing Director of the Corporation Mele Kyari after a brief visit to Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari assured the public that issues that led to the queues have been resolved.

Mele Kyari blames the queues on striking petroleum tanker drivers, saying there is no cause for alarm.

He also assures Nigerians not to be worried over the rising cost of Petrol and the impact it will have on fuel cost saying the Federal Government is already in talks with stakeholders to come up with a workable template that will benefit the public.
