At least 4,000 people have fled their homes across Togo, following terror attacks in several communities in the north of the country.
Many of those fleeing are displaced persons from Burkina Faso running from insurgent while others are Togolese who left their communities to escape attacks.
There are rising concerns across Togo, Benin, Ghana and Ivory Coast over terror attacks and spread of violence from countries battling insurgents in the region.
Terrorists have attacked parts of Northern Togo at least five times in the last 12 months, the communications minister said victims of the violence were being helped with psychological support and displaced students would be offered education in schools within host communities
