Three Moroccan Stations to Broadcast Review Classes on TV (News Central TV)

Ahead of 2021/2022 school year, the Ministry of Education in Morocco has launched preparatory courses for broadcast ahead of October 1, 2021.

The on-air courses which are targeted at the primary, middle, and high school students will be launched on national television.

It will serve as a review for the students on the modules covered during the previous academic year.

National television channels Al-Amazighia, Thaqafia and Laayoune have commenced broadcast of the courses since September 13, 2021.

Following the government’s decision to delay the school year to October 1, the Laayoune TV channel will broadcast courses specifically designed for primary school students from 08:00 a.m. to 6 p.m local time.

Al-Amazighia channel will broadcast the review classes for middle school students from 08:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Then Athaqafia channel will broadcast courses for high school students from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The ministry has announced that the detailed course schedule for each channel will be announced on a daily basis through the Ministry of Education’s website, as well as on its social media platforms.

The ministry encouraged parents to be present during the broadcast, and accompany their wards to follow up on their progress.

The ministry promised to ensure that all new features relating to television courses will be made accessible via the TICE pupil platform and the Telmidtice Mobile Application.
