Three UNICAL Students Abducted in Calabar

Three individuals studying at the University of Calabar (UNICAL) in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State, have been abducted by criminals.

The students were reportedly abducted from their hostels on Thursday night.

Although the police did not disclose the exact location of the abduction, they confirmed the unfortunate incident.

SP Irene Ugbe, the police spokesperson in the state, informed Channels Television during a phone conversation that the command, in collaboration with other security agencies, is exerting all efforts to ensure the safe release of the three students.

According to a source from the school, the abducted students are Ojang Precious Ebejin, a 200-level student in the Department of Medicine and Surgery; Ugwu Chukwuemeka, a 300-level student in the Department of Genetics and Biotechnology; and Damilola Dickson, a final-year student in the same department.
