The International Conference on Financing will take place in Lomé, the capital of Togo, on January 19 and 20, 2023. Finance experts across the African continent are expected to attend the event to deliebrate on how to finance startups and large-scale enterprises.

The discussion will centre on a number of topics, including the mobilisation of funds within regional investment organisations, alternative finance strategies, and company financing access.

The participants, according to the government, will also examine the advancements made in recent years by the economies of the nations represented at this meeting and work to identify answers to the challenges faced by SMEs in obtaining financing.

A number of prominent figures are anticipated, including financial specialists, business owners, and political officials from Togo, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, and Congo.

Recall that the Lomé International Conference on Financing follows the Togo-hosted Africa Financial Industry Summit’s (AFIS) second annual summit by a few weeks.
