American comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, who is well-known for his work on “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live,” has provided an update after a courtside medical incident at Monday night’s Madison Square Garden game between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat.
Morgan posted a photo of himself in what looks to be a hospital room on Instagram along with the caption, “I appreciate all of your care. I’m doing fine now, and doctors say it was food poisoning. Thank you to my MSG family for looking after me so well. I also want to thank the crew who had to clean that up. Thank you for that!”
In the broadcast of the game, the commentator stated that the reason for the delay was to clean up after a fan reportedly “lost the contents of their stomach courtside.” The event caused a temporary halt in play during the third quarter.

Morgan appeared to be pushing himself along the court in a wheelchair while clutching a towel to his face in social media footage.
“We wish Tracy a speedy recovery and hope to see him back courtside soon,” a Madison Square Garden representative told CNN.
The 56-year-old Morgan is a regular courtside presence at MSG and a passionate Knicks supporter.
Morgan ended his post by saying, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs #goknicks.”
The actor has already experienced serious health issues, most notably a near-fatal car accident in 2014 that left him unconscious for two weeks. In 2010, he received a kidney transplant and has also struggled with diabetes.
After play resumed, the Knicks defeated the Heat 116-95.
