According to ZBC TV, by Friday night, the bodies of six miners had been recovered from the mine. However, the dire situation persisted, with another 15 miners still trapped beneath the earth, prompting ongoing rescue efforts.
The harrowing event transpired at approximately 0800 GMT on Friday, resulting in the entrapment of 34 miners. While 13 fortunate individuals managed to escape the ordeal, a distressing 21 remained underground, as outlined in the report by ZBC.
