Tunisia, Saudi Arabia Explore Enhanced Economic Cooperation

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman engaged in a call with President Kais Saied of Tunisia to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new avenues of cooperation, according to Gulf Online, citing the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the call, the crown prince congratulated President Saied on his re-election and highlighted opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.

The two leaders reviewed the progress of Saudi-Tunisian ties, with a special emphasis on advancing economic and investment relations.

Last year, the nations signed several agreements across sectors including industry, tourism, and climate. In December 2023, seven additional memoranda of cooperation were signed in areas such as agricultural scientific research, water resources, and employment, solidifying their commitment to collaborative growth and regional development.
