Twitter Ng Cancels Beyonce For Not Lending Her Voice To #ENDSARS

Nigerian youths on Twitter have since been dragging Beyonce since Tiwa Savage beckoned on her to lend her voice to the ongoing protest in Nigeria.

According to them, Beyonce shouldn’t be asked before joining the movement since she used Nigerian artistes, directors and creatives in her ‘’The Gift” album and her “Black is King” video to promote the importance of the African society.

Here are some of the things they had to say:

“@TiwaSavage calling out Beyoncé and @tokstarr calling out @KimKardashian. You love to see it. But it too late. Anyone who hasn’t commented on #EndSARS at this stage doesn’t care or think Nigeria 🇳🇬 is important enough. It’s simple as ABC”

“We don’t need #Beyonce to speak up before our voices can be heard,we are all that we need.
#Beyonce using African Traditional Religion (ATR) to water her pockets was an easy thing for her to do cos we see our tradition/roots as evil,we don’t even pay any attention to it”

“If Beyonce haven’t said anything about #EndSARS by yesterday, it means she doesn’t CARE!!!!!”

“#Beyonce never liked Africa/Nigeria.
All she did was to gain our attention for her album.
Anyways we move without her.
No retreat, No surrender

“Beyonce sang with Nigerian musicians and can’t unite with us to fight problem facing us. We are the ones living in Nigeria, we will have to face our problems and overcome them

“So this is where we at now? Dragging Beyoncé for keeping quiet on what’s happening in our own country. The world is already aware of it, why single her out? We are losing focus on our main objectives here. Please she’s not our problem right now. #EndSARS #EndSWAT”

“Soo true
We’re deviating from our aim
Is this a protest to be recognized by Beyonce or a protest for a change in our nation?

Even if Beyonce lends her voice will things change over night or does she have special connect to Buhari?
Some of our celebrities are also silent”

“But at least a little bit of concern could help
When she wanted to make money she remembered Nigerians had artistes
Now that Nigeria she made money from needs just the slightest concern from ‘Mama Africa’ “

“Beyonce came to Africa, featured African Artists to revive her dead career, some clowns 🤡 called her Mama Africa. Where is y’ll Mama Africa now? #EndSARS #EndSWAT”

“Do you remember this when she’s doing cultural appropriation? So her association with Africa should be when it’s convenient or use for the promotion of her brand”
