Two people have been reported killed as a result of sporadic shooting by an unidentified driver of a Toyota Highlander who was travelling through the Ekpan, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

The shooting incident occurred on Christmas Eve, according to police spokesman Bright Edafe, who verified this to newsmen over the phone.

He claimed that one of those killed was a small-time dealer who was providing the youths who were partying all night with beverages and other goods.

In Sapele, within Sapele Local Government Area, where a cult clash took place on the same day, a comparable occurrence was also documented.

Despite the fact that no fatalities were reported, the police claim to have started looking into both events in an effort to identify the offenders and bring them up to speed with the law.
