Angola’s U-17 football team coach, Pedro Dos Santos is excited about the prospect of his young side at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Tanzania.
Dos Santos said his side has what it takes to perform impressively at the tournament after they began their campaign on a winning note with a 1-0 win over Uganda.
The coach also revelead that his target is to qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup to be hosted by Brazil in October.
“Players making up my squad are all worth tracking, and some will go on to achieve great things in the game,” he said.
“We are taking each game differently so that we can perform well,” he added.
In other results on Monday, Guinea lost to Cameroon 2-0 while Morocco and Senegal played out a 1-1 draw.
