Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government will soon the lift the visa ban on Nigerian travellers.

The Minister further disclosed that while the leaders of both countries had reached a resolution during President Tinubu’s working visit to the UAE last September, several processes that were required for the ban to be lifted have now been completed and an announcement is expected imminently.

“We have done everything; we have resolved everything. Just wait for the announcement from the UAE government and that announcement is imminent” Keyamo said.

He added that while he is privy to the date the government plans to lift the ban, he insists it would be better that the country makes an official announcement.
