Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a Ukrainian delegation will travel to London on Wednesday for discussions aimed at achieving a ceasefire with Russia.
These talks follow a meeting in Paris where US officials presented their plan to end the three-year conflict, reflecting growing pressure from European and US leaders for a halt to Russia’s invasion.
Despite US President Donald Trump’s efforts to broker a ceasefire, the Kremlin has yet to make significant concessions, even after a brief truce over Easter initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky stated on social media that Ukrainian representatives, along with those from the United Kingdom, France, and the United States, would participate in the London talks, expressing Ukraine’s readiness for constructive progress.
He reiterated that an “unconditional ceasefire must be the first step toward peace.” While Zelensky did not specify the full delegation, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had previously indicated US involvement.
