The Somalia under-17 national football team returned home after winning the East and Central African (Cecafa) championship in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa.
On Saturday, the Somali teenagers defeated their South Sudanese rivals 3-1 in the championship match.
Since the country’s descent into civil conflict in 1991, this is the first time a Somali football team has won an international championship.
The win has brought an unprecedented sense of unity to a nation beset by violence.
