Nothing sustains relationships as a good foundation of love, Pastor and Mrs. David Adeoye Sunmbo Adeoye said on News Central’s Jasiri show.
While sharing their wisdom on the topic, Valentine Special: Love, Marriage and Relationships, the pastor and his wife said relationships are dignifying when built on the foundation of love. According to Pastor Adeoye, enduring marriages require a deeper friendship.
The pastor maintained that “anything that must keep a man or woman as husband and wife for 76 years, there must be something keeping them as friends.”
Sunmbo Adeoye highlighted the issue of marrying for superficial reasons, citing an identity crisis among women who seek glam for social media.
In the view of Sunmbo Adeoye, a lot of women only want to marry for the glams and grams; she says “I think it is an identity issue, a lot of women don’t know what they want. They just want something for the gram.”
The couple stressed that perfection isn’t necessary, but managing imperfections is crucial for a successful marriage.
