Popular social critic Martins Otse, also known as Verydarkman, has clarified that no funds from his NGO are missing.
In a video shared on Tuesday, the outspoken commentator expressed disappointment with Nigerians for accepting false narratives without proper investigation and for directing insults at him and his mother.
He stated, “No money is missing; my money is secured. The way people delight in bad news is truly sad. I told my website manager to shut the site down so we could observe reactions. Nobody asked for evidence; they just believed what was said. I’m glad I did this.”
This follows a previous claim Otse made on Instagram last Friday, alleging that his organisation’s account had been hacked and N180 million was stolen.
