Donald Trump’s 64-storey luxury hotel in Las Vegas became the focus of attention today as black smoke was seen billowing from the property amid reports of an explosion in the Nevada city.
Eyewitnesses on-site reported an evacuation of the building, with footage circulating online showing thick smoke pouring from the hotel’s ground floor.
It appears as though the smoke coming from Trump tower is from a Tesla cyber truck. While the cause remains unclear, unverified reports on social media suggest the smoke followed an explosion.
The exterior glass of the building has gold plating. The property opened on March 31, 2008, with 1,282 rooms, as well as two restaurants. It is Las Vegas’s tallest residential building, standing at 190m.
