A fuel tanker caught fire Wednesday evening along the Olowotedo/Asese axis of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, outward Lagos. The blaze spread through drainage channels, reaching nearby estates and disrupting traffic.

Commuters are urged to stay alert and exercise caution.

This incident comes following a tanker explosion that occurred on Monday between the Oremeji and Olorunsogo areas of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, which also caused significant traffic disruption.
