A group of armed men have abducted an undisclosed number of school children in the Emure Local Government area of Ekiti State, Southwest Nigeria.
The incident happened yesterday evening while the students were in a school bus around Eporo-Ekiti boundary.
The victims are said to be students from an unrevealed educational institution in the state.
This is coming following the abduction and murder of two traditional rulers at the Oke-ako road in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State yesterday.
The Onimojo of Imojo-Ekiti, Oba Olatunde Samuel Olushola and Elesun of Esun-Ekiti, Oba David Babatunde Ogunsakin were ambushed and shot by the armed men on Monday. The Alara of Ara-Ekiti, Oba Adebayo Fatoba, escaped from the scene.
