Kaduna Train Terrorists Threaten to Abduct President Buhari (News Central TV)

Barely two weeks after garnering N800 Million for the release of seven victims of the March 28 Kaduna-bound train attack, terrorists have threatened to abduct President Muhammadu Buhari for failing to meet their demands.

News Central had reported how the train abductors celebrated the successful jail break at the Kuje Custodial Centre, freeing over 800 inmates – among them, dozens of Bokoharam commanders. A few have been captured, while others remain on the run.

Some hours earlier, the convoy of an advance team of the president was purportedly attacked by ISWAP members on its way to Buhari’s hometown of Daura ahead of Eid celebrations.

Two persons sustained injuries in the attack, which the presidency said was repelled.

In a video which is now viral on social media platforms, the terrorists who abducted over 60 passengers of the Kaduna-bound train on March 28, threatened to abduct and kill President Buhari and Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.

The terrorists also boasted that they will kill the remaining passengers in their custody and sell out the others.

They promised to destroy the country, unless the government met their demands.

Some victims were released after their families reportedly paid N100 million each.

“This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders; your senators and governors will come before us. These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past,” he said in Hausa.

He further stated: “Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these ones as slaves. If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining. By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here.”
