A perimeter fence belonging to a commercial bank in Nigeria collapsed Wednesday, on a construction site in the Wuse Zone 2 area of the Federal Capital Territory, killing two construction workers and injuring four others.
Witnesses said the fence collapsed on the workers, who were excavating the site for foundation work to begin.
Confirming the incident, the Head of Operations of the FCT Federal Fire Service, Engineer Amiola Adebayo, said that the construction builders failed to erect an embankment wall between the collapsed fence and the site of the ongoing construction, causing the fence to fall on the workers.
