Nigeria’s former vice president, veteran politician Atiku Abubakar and leader of Nigeria’s Opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has expressed optimism that in spite of the challenges besetting the country, Nigerians shall enthrone a nation of their dreams.
He made this known in an address titled: “We Can Build the Nigeria of Our Dreams”
In the document, Abubakar said he has put together a plan which he believes will help address Nigeria’s developmental issues and put a stop to the decline in the quality of life of citizens.
The former Vice president said his proposals are aimed at uniting Nigeria through social equity, justice, collaboration, and consensus, building a secure democracy, creating an expansive economy that offers jobs and prosperity while developing a fair federal system that looks out for all federating units.
He gave insights on national security strategy, as well as rebuilding Nigeria’s educational system so it provides students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in today’s innovation-driven global order.
He said “…These aspirations are essential to our future. We must seize this historic opportunity with enthusiasm and commitment.”
