West Ham Secure Wan-Bissaka Transfer from Manchester United

Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has joined West Ham from Manchester United on a seven-year deal for a reported fee of £15m.

“It was a no-brainer for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here,” said Wan-Bissaka.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London; I was born here, so I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me.

“I’m happy to be here, am grateful for the warm welcome, and I am excited to be playing for the club and will give it my all.” He said

The 26-year-old is West Ham’s eighth summer signing.

Wan-Bissaka joined Manchester United in June 2019 from Crystal Palace and made 190 appearances for the club in all competitions, winning the FA Cup and the EFL Cup at Old Trafford.

Old Trafford is set to see changes as Noussair Mazraoui is close to moving from Bayern Munich after a medical and will replace Wan Bissaka.

The club is also finalising a deal for Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt, who has completed a medical.
