American actor Walton Goggins is here to put us to sleep in a blissful condition to make up for the stress that his character, Rick, from “White Lotus” has caused us this season.
In one of their well-known Sleep Stories, the actor collaborated with the relaxation and meditation app Calm to provide his smoky voice to the fairytale “The Yard Sale.”
“A friend once told me that the first question you ask someone should not be, ‘How are you?’ but rather, ‘How did you sleep last night?’” Goggins posted the announcement of the Sleep Story on his verified Instagram on Tuesday. “I agree.”
An excerpt from the story was featured in the post, where Goggins is heard leisurely telling readers to unwind and go to bed. He also mentioned that you could get into a hammock.

“The reason I wouldn’t do it is that I’ve never entered or exited one gracefully,” he said.
The actor also stated in the description that he “wanted to create a sleep story that feels dreamlike, helping people slow down by wandering through a yard sale (which turns out to be one of my favourite things to do), uncovering hidden treasures.”
“Counting sheep is the Walton Goggins way of doing it. Enjoy, I hope,” he added.
The late Jimmy Stewart, whose voice was used in a Calm Christmas Sleep Story in 2023 using generative AI technology, and Dolly Parton are two other celebrities who have read bedtime stories in an attempt to lull viewers to sleep.
Goggins is currently starring in “The White Lotus,” where his character is frequently the most agitated and tormented member of the cast, even releasing several snakes at one point.
