The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has authorised the New National Minimum Wage payment, set at N70,000, for FCT Administration employees.
This information was shared by the Acting Head of the Civil Service of FCT, Mrs Grace Adayilo, in a statement released on Tuesday in Abuja by her Press Secretary, Ewhenji Anthony Odey.
The Head of Service revealed that the Minister also approved the payment of three months’ arrears for all Administration staff, starting November 2024.
The statement further indicated that this initiative reflects the Minister’s dedication to the welfare of the employees.
“This action will motivate all staff of the Administration to assist the Minister in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
