Former Spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 presidential elections Daniel Bwala, has lashed out at Nigeria’s Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, saying his drama will be addressed to the party at the appropriate time.
According to Bwala, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), hardly pays attention to the Minister’s constant outbursts because it is common knowledge that he enjoys drama. However, the party will take appropriate action against him in due time.
“Why we (PDP) hardly react to what he (Wike) says is because he loves drama, everybody knows that.
“The quietness of the party is not weakness. The party knows what it is doing. At the appropriate time, he (Wike) would not only be suspended but also expelled. Take that to the bank,” the former spokesperson said.
This is coming after the former Rivers State Governor, while responding to a question on Channels Television, bragged that he was yet to see any PDP chieftain who would dare to suspend him from the party.
“How can anyone talk about expelling me? With all due respect, I have not seen that person. Nobody will do it. So, the issue that they will do it does not arise,” he said.
Wike said he has never hidden his intentions from his party, adding that leadership is not about one’s political party, but the willingness to serve.
“I am not here to work for a party. I am here to support the president, who has confidence in me. I owe nobody an apology,’’ the former Rivers state Governor stated.
