The captain of Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi, Manu Garba, has expressed the team’s determination to give their best in the Nigeria National League (NNL) with the goal of making a swift return to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Garba assured that the team would continue to put in their best efforts until they achieved the objective of returning to the NPFL. He also appreciated the Interim Management Committee for ensuring the prompt payment of match allowances, stating that it serves as motivation for the players.
“We have been receiving our match bonuses since the beginning of the season and all the bonuses,” he added. “That would always serve as motivation for the players in the team,” Garba added.
The captain called for more prayers and understanding from the team’s supporters and emphasised the importance of securing more victories in the league.
Wikki Tourists FC recently reclaimed the top spot in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Group C after a 1-0 victory over NAF FC. They are set to host ABS of Ilorin on January 14th at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.
