President William Ruto has landed in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, where he is slated to hold bilateral talks with his host.
In Ruto’s company are Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, Defence CS nominee Aden Duale and National Security Advisor nominee Monica Juma.
The president restated his resolve to foster the Nairobi-Addis Ababa relations to exploit the proceeds from the two countries’ bilateral ties for the common good of the respective citizenries.
“We are exploring new fronts in our relations with Ethiopia to pursue shared interests, especially in the area of technology, for our mutual prosperity. Arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for bilateral talks with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed,” the president said upon his arrival in Addis Ababa.
The two leaders will thereafter preside over the launch of Safaricom in Ethiopia.
