Grammy winner Wizkid headlined the 2022 Rolling Loud Festival in Toronto, Canada, on September 11, 2022. This makes the Nigerian artiste the first African artist to headline the 3-day international hip hop music festival since it started in 2015.

His set included some of his hits like the Grammy-nominated ‘Essence’, True love, Azonto and also saw him perform his Chris Brown collabo ‘Call Me Everyday’ for the first-ever time.

This comes days after Wizkid announced his new single titled “Bad To Me” will be out on September 14, 2022.

Meanwhile, Nigerian comedian, actor and rapper Basketmouth directed a lyrical tweet to Wizkid. He said “I didn’t think you’ll remember my birthday (Sept 14th) talk less of giving me this gift. @wizkidayo thanks for not being ‘BAD TO ME’

The new track will be Wizkid’s first since he released four tracks off his ‘Made In Lagos’ deluxe edition album on August 27, 2020.
