The Zamfara State Government has reiterated its commitment to the well-being of its workforce by approving an end-of-year bonus for public servants and pensioners.
This initiative is part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to promote good governance, boost employee motivation, and foster a prosperous society.
In a circular issued by the Zamfara State Head of Service, Ahmad Aliyu Liman, Governor Dauda Lawal approved a 13th-month salary equivalent to 30% of basic pay as a bonus for the year 2024.
The payment will be made not only to active public servants but also to pensioners, reflecting the administration’s dedication to inclusivity and welfare for all.
“In its continuous drive to ensure good governance and a secure environment, the State Executive Governor Dauda Lawal PhD has once again graciously approved the payment of the 13th-month bonus, equivalent to 30% of Basic Salary, for the end of year 2024, extending this to both the serving workforce and our esteemed pensioners,” the circular read.
Governor Lawal has urged all public servants to reciprocate the government’s gesture by demonstrating increased commitment, hard work, and efficiency in service delivery.
“Accordingly, all public servants are encouraged to redouble their efforts and show their commitment to both the government and the people of Zamfara State through hard work, productivity, dedication, and efficient service delivery, thereby supporting the Rescue Mission of this administration,” he said.
He emphasised that their dedication is crucial to advancing the Rescue Mission agenda and ensuring a secure and prosperous Zamfara State.
