Zynnell Zuh reveals how much she spends on red carpet outfits.

Ghanaian Fashion icon and actress, Zynnell Zuh was in an exclusive interview with Sammy kay on the go online show. She stated during the interview she buys the clothes and dresses she wears and that is because she works hard to get the things she likes.


The founder of Zynnel Zuh foundation also revealed that she has collaborated with a lot of designers that provide her with gowns to rock for events but she added that sometimes, she buys her own outfit.
When asked about the amount of money she spends when rocking the red carpet for events, the fashionista asserted that from her outfit, shoes, accessories, clutch, makeup, hair to videography and photography, she spends nothing less than $2,600.
Lydia Zynnell Zuh who was born July 18th, 1990 is a Ghanaian fashion icon, actress, writer, producer, television personality and philanthropist who hails from the Volta region of Ghana. She joined the Ghana movie industry in 2004 and has since received several awards for her work including, Glitz Style Awards, City People Entertainment Awards and Golden Movie Awards.


She was born in Accra, Ghana. She had her secondary school education at Wesley Girls Senior High School. And then furthered at University of Ghana where she acquired a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Information Studies.


Zynnell joined the Ghana Movie Industry in 2004. Her first screen appearance was through the TV series ‘Sticking to the Promise’ by Point Blank Media. The actress, who was discovered by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, shot into fame in 2010 after starring in several television series and movies, including ‘Tears of a Smile’. She later ventured into movie productions where she produced When Love Comes Around, which won an award at the 2015 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice awards. She also produced Love Regardless and Anniversary.


As of 2016, she was the ambassador for the United Against Child Poverty Campaign, an initiative by the African Rights Initiative International to help eradicate child poverty in Africa. She is also a Patron of Inspire Africa NGO.
Zuh has a number of awards to her name.


In 2013, Zuh won the City People entertainment awards for best supporting actress. In 2016, she won the Golden Movie awards for best Actress in a Drama ‘ANNIVERSARY’. Again, in 2016, Zynnell scooped the Glitz Style Awards for most Stylish Movie Star . She won the same award again in 2017. Still in 2016, Zuh was nominated for the Zafaa Awards in the “Best Actress Drama” category. Then, in 2017, she won the Eurostar Limousine’s Ghana Fashion Review Panel prize as best Dressed Celebrity on the Red Carpet. Well, all that money didn’t go to waste.


In 2018, Zynnell won two awards. She won the Spice Style Awards for best Female Lead in a Movie and Ghana Makeup Awards for Most Glamorous Celebriy. She was nominated in 2018 for the International Achievement Recognition Awards (IARA).
In 2019, Zuh didn’t relent as she still won the Green October Awards and the Glitz Style Awards for best Dressed Celebrity on the Red Carpet.
