Former Rivers State Governor, Rufus Ada-George, has openly criticised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, accusing him of orchestrating the ongoing political crisis in the state.
His comments follow the controversial appointment of local government administrators by the state’s Sole Administrator, Ibok Ette-Ibas.

Ada-George, who served as governor from 1992 to 1993, condemned Wike’s alleged role in the turmoil, warning that it has contributed to the conditions prompting discussions around a possible emergency rule in Rivers State.
