Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana has escaped unscathed after being involved in a serious car accident ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria.
The Indomitable Lions stopper was reportedly on his way to Doula from the capital city Yaounde on Tuesday morning when the incident happened.
He survived the accident which involved three vehicles without serious injury or casualty. Onana has walked away from a horror car crash scene on his way to play for Cameroon in a World Cup play-off.
In the trending video, Andre Onana’s Range Rover is seen as it collided with an old model Toyota SUV. A journalist Razz Materazz, said that Andre confirmed to him that’s he’s unhurt and safe.
Razz wrote: “ANDRE ONANA IS FINE.
I just had a word with Cameroon and Ajax keeper Andre Onana after his accident this morning.
He told me “I’m ok and I’m heading to the camp. We have a crucial game.”
Amazing that even after the accident, Andre’s mind is solely on the game.”
