The National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) has urged telecom companies to revert to old tariffs until the Nigerian Government’s review committee concludes its assessment.
In a statement following an emergency meeting, NAAT President Ibeji Nwokoma also criticised the frequent dissolution of university governing councils and the dismissal of vice-chancellors without due process, warning that such actions threaten university stability.

The union condemned delays in salary payments under the new payroll system and called for the immediate settlement of withheld wages and hazard allowances. It also aligned with the NLC in opposing recent tax reforms and tariff hikes.
